Optima
Overview
The 2009 Kia Optima receives a styling refresh with a new design from the front fenders forward and updated styling cues. A new, more powerful 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine delivers 175 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque and a fuel economy increase to 22/32 mpg city/hwy. The available 2.7-liter V6 is also updated to deliver 194 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque with a fuel economy rating of 20/28 mpg city/hwy. The SX trim level is added for 2009 between the value LX and up-level EX. The Optima is also updated inside with a new instrument panel design, red illumination and new materials. The audio system features MP3 compatibility, USB and auxiliary jacks and SIRIUS Satellite Radio capability with three months of complimentary service.Features
